Here at FCC we understand the need for partnership. We have a long history of partnering to bring the saving news of the gospel and to bring the sustaining work of improving life. Each one of us has been given at least one talent that God uses to build up His church. God is the giver of all talents and He has not neglected anyone. His image in you is reflected when you use the gifts He has given to each of us. As you read this, we will have just celebrated our Ministry Fair at FCC. This Fair was an opportunity for each of us to consider where we might use the gifts that He has given us to serve in this place. Each one of us should be serving in some capacity to bring the most nutritious and highest yield harvest for Him. It begins by asking God to show you your gift, and then to show you a way to use your gift. Like the women in Congo the need might be dire, but more likely it is subtle, either way He can help you to form the partnerships that work with others to meet the needs in FCC and our community. Serving God is truly a sign of the power of the difference maker – Jesus Christ – who makes the difference between life and death.
When we partner with God, in Congo or at FCC, we acknowledge that God has in fact given each of us a part in working to bring His kingdom here on earth. We acknowledge that He uses others as well in this process, and that our partnership is part of His design for us, we can do more together. Finally, when we partner with God and with others we give Him the victory! This is a sign of His redemption for the world to see.
If you do not have a place of service through FCC please see one of the Pastors so we can help you find the partnership for you. We will be introducing you to ways to partner in Congo in April.
