I first saw Yosemite when I was 6 years old. I remember being awed by the beauty. Yes...6 years old and awed by beauty. We climbed Vernal Falls. It was magical and wonderful. Now when I see Yosemite, the magnitude of its beauty settles and inspires me. My eyes have seen so much in their fifty some years, that when they rest on Yosemite I know that they are beholding something rare. Its grandeur is fresh and needed.
To the open ears, the Sermon on the Mount rings with freshness, clear truth, correction and yet-to-be-experienced possibilities. It is much needed.
P.S. The Statement of Blessings that I shared in the services:
I am blessed. No illness, no failure, no financial loss, no disappointment, no betrayal, no sin, no heartbreak can change the fact that I am blessed. According to Jesus, I am blessed because I am always loved by the Father, always accompanied by the Son and always offered the strength of the Holy Spirit. The wonderful blessings of God in this life cannot be compared with the blessings He has in store for me in the life to come.
